Beautiful hanging conceptual book object made of torn red and black transparent paper. The individual sheets of paper are labeled by the artist with Roman numerals that refer to the circles she drew on them with a stroke counting system of each sheet. The sheets are thread on a string made of raffia.

Takako Saito was born in 1929 in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, Japan, and lives in Düsseldorf, Germany, since 1979.
Takako Saito works are represented among others the following public collections  MoMA, New York, MUMOK Wien, ZKM, Karlsruhe, Museum am Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach and Staatliches Museum Schwerin.
